Horse Height Measuring Devices

Below are various devices you can use to measure a horse's height currently for sale on eBay.

How Do You Measure Horse Height?

To determine how tall a horse is, measure from the ground in a straight line up to the highest point of the withers. After getting the measurement in inches, you will need to convert inches to "hands" (horse height is correctly referred to by a unit of measurement known as a "hand").
