Dixie is a 9 year old paint mare with great markings. I raised this mare as I breed her dam to a black and white son of an APHA Champion (A Summers Breeze). She is a great horse. Absolutely no meanness to her. I rode her alot her 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th years. She has been on a few organized trail rides like the Ride to a Cure (cancer society annual rides) and misc other ones. Never has done anything silly on them. She is very calm. She trailers, catches, stands for the farrier, and baths great. I am reluctantly selling her but now with 4 children 5 years and under and expecting another in the fall riding time is simply gone. I have been thinking of this for a few years now but simply haven't had the heart to sell her. I am also selling her 17 year old dam (see other listing). Dixie has always been in a pasture with a minimum of 30 acres. She is very familiar with cows as she has spent the last few summers on 160 acres with 20 pairs of cow/calves. To approved homes only. She is gorgeous and simply a sweet heart.
