Tater is as gentle as a dog and honest as they come. My 13 year old doesn't think a thing about saddling him and riding him the eight miles into town to get a Coke.
He has been rode lots and lots of miles down the roads and over a lot of pasture. Traffic, dogs, or nothing else bothers him. We broke him to ride, and he never humped up one time. Zero buck, not cold backed, and is the same every time you get on him. If every colt was as easy to get along with as he is, everybody would be breaking horses. He has a little jog trot that is as smooth as butter and a real nice short lope.
This horse is out of a Hancock bred stud and a grade mare, but everything about says "Cowboy horse."
Put a little time into him and polish up his neck reining, and somebody will have something to be proud of.
