Lucy is a big Dun mare who has been used on everything. I started her as a two year old, showing in county fairs and fun shows in every event. I quickly went to checking pasture and moving cattle with her. She has been used on the feedyard for 3 months and the salebarn for two years. She has dragged claves at brandings, shipped hundreds of pots, and I have roped 600-800 lb calves in the pasture. She is definitely big enough to pull bigger than that, I just haven't had the chance to. I have also competed in 3 Extreme Cowboy Races on her. I have let kids ride with me, but would not call her kid broke. She loads and hauls great, stands good for shoeing and vaccinations, and is an easy keeper. I have also used her in a ranch rodeo. I would recommend her to an experienced woman rider because she is very light and responsive to cues. Call or email me for questions or pictures
