Caddy is a really well built 3 year old filly. HUGE hip, big bodied, baby doll head, short back, and nice straight legs with a deep set hock. Great big stride.

She has the size to be a heading horse, the stop to be a heeling or calf horse, and the athleticism and speed to be a barrel horse. This little mare works off her hind end extremely naturally and is really responsive to leg cues. She has been trotting a nice pattern, but hasn't been pushed. I have her 4 year old, maternal 1/2 sister who is already consistantly pulling 2/3D checks, and has earned money in the 1D as well.
She has gone to a couple of practice ropings to see the sights, had a rope swung off her a few times, and has tracked a few steers. I've started taking her to barrel races as well. Loads, ties, and stands for the farrier. UTD on vaccinations and dewormings. Will consider all non-horse trades, or a trade for the right gelding or mare. I prefer cow X running bloodlines, but am not stuck on a paticular pedigree. |
