Copper has only had 2 owners in his lifetime. He has spend 10 years on a feedlot and doctoring cattle in the fields. He knows his job and he is good at it Will go through anything and is a very easy horse to ride. Well trained and has done it all.
He loves to be groomed. I think that , with his build, he could be a nice starter horse for a kid in 4H. Has done the pattern in the past and he has the smoothest lope I have ever ridden. He will ride next to the road, traffic doesn't bother him at all. Exposed to tractor equipment, kids, dogs, four wheelers, etc. He is a great horse that needs a great home with a job
Copper is 22 yrs young, AQHA reg. He is a FRECKLES PLAYBOY grandson & a DOC BAR, SUGARFOOT WIMPY great grandson. Never had a health problem. These photos were take last week and he is pasture condition (easy keeper is an understatement here ) He is only on free choice hay, water, and mineral....has been all his life Only had a handful of grain on occasion. UTD on worming, shots, and farrier. Stands for it all. He is just one of those that you can leave in a pasture for YEARS, pull him out, saddle up and do the job with no fuss. I can not say enough nice things about him If we didn't have 2 kids under 5 and APHA weanlings to show, he would be staying here Good home is a must
