I have for sale a 2yr old leopard spotted appaloosa john mule. He was gelded, microchiped, and fully vaccinated in October 2016. I have his microchip info so the buyer can change it into there name. I will only sell this appy mule colt to an experienced mule owner/ handler. He is naturally catty, athletic, quick and smart. I believe this to be due to him being feral when I first got him. I don't believe he was ever imprinted on, or if he was the owners failed to keep imprinting and working with him as he grew up. He is still hard to catch but once caught halters and leads nice. He will come up with the other equines when called in for grain. I grain them in a small pen so there easier to catch while eating. I know mules get hot and crazy when they are grained, he's not on a daily graining. He will stand for the farrier though he's been scared of the hoof stand. We have been working with this and the last trim we did he stood on the stand well. He picks up all four legs without issue (we practice picking them up without a halter on while he's eating.) Radar loads, stands, rides, and unloads in a stalk and slant load trailer alone or with another equine. We have worked on a two horse straight load trailer with a walk up ramp a couple of times and once he's convinced its safe will load into it. Radar is a bay mule with black spotting all over his body and several sporadic white spots. Very unique. He loves ear scratches and will move his head around to position you in his itchy spot. I have not taped him since but on Jan. 15, 2016 he was 12.2 hh. He's obviously grown since then. Remember mules can Not be started under saddle until there 4yrs old and do not stop growing until there around 7yrs old. Last 13 pics where taken on 7/7/17. Videos are posted below. Please open a new tab, copy and past the links into your internet bar to go to the link to watch the videos. The first 3 videos show his personality. The 4th video shows his ground work. 5th video shows him loading/unloading.
