Lightweight (or “light weight”) barrel racing saddles are a favorite among many barrel racers.

Lighter weight barrel saddles are popular for several reasons, including shaving fractions of a second off time in a barrel race, and for ease of handling for barrel racers of any age.<\/p>\n

Most of the barrel saddles below weigh in at 25 pounds (approximately) or less. This is light for barrel saddles, as it’s not uncommon to them weighing in at 30 pounds and over.<\/p>\n
